Visitor's Question:
I need to know what to do. My girlfriend and I were together for a year and a half. We loved each other. It started cuz she had a huge crush on me since we were like 10. I didn't develop feelings for her, they came out inside me. I didn't even know what love was until we were together. It seemed to last forever (in a good way). She made my whole life brighter. She broke up with me in April and we didn't talk for 2 months. She said she had lots of competitions (dancing), but im know it was something else. I eventually emailed her and said, I didn't want things to be awkward between us. Our families are like best friends so, we see each other all the time. We just got back from holidays together on a lake. We were talking and having fun, laughing. I kept trying to impress her, and the weirdest part was, she was giving me these dewy-eyed, longing looks when i was wearing my sunglasses, like evry five seconds. It seemed like we were never together, and we were back to square one. I talked to her cousin (we are good friends), she said my ex, told her that she thought she was too young to keep thins relationship going. I think i figured out what it was. Was she afraid of that... physical step in a relationship. i am 18 .I wish she had talked to me. When i said "I Love You" to her, all i ever needed was her hand. "I love you." goes beyond anything sexual doesn't it? Thats what i think. All i ever wanted was to look in her eyes, and i could feel it more than any simple pleasures could satisfy. But how do I tell her how i feel and what if im wrong? What if she doesn't still have that crush and i make an ass of myself, ill lose her forever. PLease, I need help.

Our Suggestion:
So make an ass of yourself... you won't lose her forver.

Tell her just what you told me and she will understand how you feel and then let you know how she feels. Make sure you preface your comments with the fact that you want to remain friends with her no matter what.

If she doesn't still have that crush, work on rebuilding it. Talk to her, share your feelings with her, and be affectionate. This will help her to feel better about you.

Good luck! George
