Visitor's Question:
Hiya George,
Here I am again :)
Well, alot has happened since the last time I posted here.
On July 1st I had my first gig playing the bass with the praise team at church. During the first sermon I was very
nervous because I never played in front of an audience.
ROFL, I almost dropped the bass during the first sermon because I used a guitar strap without strap_locks. It was a funny moment and thankfully not many people noticed.
Anyways, b4 the second service started I was super nervous
because the X might appear! Sure enough she was there but she didnt notice that I had seen her. So, after I was done playing and the sermon began I was walking around in the lobby and said goodbye to a woman who is also on the praise team. She gave me a hug and I started to gather my stuff to leave the church. Suddenly, I hear HEY! I turn around and it's the X. She left the sermon to speak to me and to tell me how surprised she was and how it brought her to tears. We chatted for a few and I held my composure very well considering what a wreck I was moments b4 the worship.
I smiled alot and appeared to very happy. :) YAY!
A few days later she called my phone to tell me that our cat needed to get his checkup with the vet. *I didnt answer the phone, I let her go to voicemail.* I didnt respond to the call because it didnt seem neccesary. Weird thing is that she lives across the street and she could have dropped it into my mailbox or emailed this information.
That was the first time she had called in 9 weeks.
A few days later I went to the vets and changed the address to my house and I was surprised to find it was still addressed to her residence.
A couple weeks pass by and Sunday I went to go pick up my brother from his boat which happens to be at my old apartment complex. I look over at the clubhouse and she is there trying to watch the an airshow going on. After spotting her I casually walk over to the clubhouse to use the restroom and as I am walking back to the boatdock she notices me and calls for me. I acted aloof as if I didnt know who was calling for me. I went over to talk to her and we chatted for a bit. I told her I had to go and as I was leaving she says "it was nice to see you". I turned around and said the same back to her.
The following day I noticed that one of my CD's from the church was scratched and 2 of the songs I need to learn for tonites practice are that CD. DOH!
She also some music from the church so I thought I would text her and ask to borrow that CD for a few minutes so I could add it to mp3 player and use it when I ride my bike. She then calls me and says "sure let me get dressed and I'll come outside". She then comes out and searches her car for the CD and finds nothing. She then invites me inside her home as she looks thru her moms CD's. We never did find the CD but we had nice conversation.
She declared that she was shocked that I had text her and that she had to double check the origin of the text. She then tells me that she was talking one of her girlfriends at work about me. Telling her that now that we arent together I am more active, fit, spiritual, and that I am on the praise team and so forth...
She then asked if I was mad at her bcuz she said some mean things. I told her we both had said some things we regret.
Then she told me that she thinks I am a great guy.
She asked for a hug and then I left shortly after. When I got home our cat was at the door so I thought I should bring him over there for bit bcuz she had asked about him. I called her and when she answered she was very giddy. She sounded very happy that all that had taken place. I then took the cat over there and she played with him for a bit and then I left.
Part of me thinks that I have relieved her of some guilt for moving on and hurting my feelings. Another side of me WANTS to believe that she really does miss me and that she is sorting out her true feelings.
Yes, she is still with hanging out with the other guy. :/
Should I set a deadline for hanging on?
I do date others but she still has a hold of my heart.
For the time being I will continue what I have been doing
and will not make any attempts of contact.
Any comments?
Take care George!

Our Suggestion:
I think you are right to play it by ear for now.

She still has a boyfriend or I'd advise moving faster and more directly. But it probably is better for her to come to the conclusion for herself that shs has become re-attracted to you. It certainly sounds like she has.

Congratulations for bringing all these good things to pass.

Good luck! George
