Visitor's Question: my ex bf and i dated for 2 years, we were madly in love and saw eachother as marriage material, we were so happy together. the biggest problem was religion though, which is the reason why he broke up with me, but also because i became too needy. he told me he would never do anything to hurt me and wouldnt go out with anyone else for a long time so that i could get over it. A month after the break up he started going out with another girl and it broke my heart. We go to the same school and i see him all the time. I didnt talk to him for the longest time, but now atleast i say hi, i guess you can call it being fake friends. As much as i show other people that i am strong and have moved on, i havent, i still love him more than anything in the whole world. is there any way i could get him back? Our Suggestion: I don't see how you can fix a religious problem if it was so strong that it lead to your breakup. Wish you had been more specific about that. Now he is going out with someone else and you would have to step between them to get him back. This would be quite a challenge. How about asking him out to dinner or for drinks as friends. Be honest with him but not clingy or desperate. Just the facts. It may make a difference to him and bring him back to you. It's a long-shot but you may feel it is worth it. Good luck!
