Confidence, and Confusion.

Visitor's Question:
Well this is going to go out for a college friend who I'm very confused about. I'm feeling some feelings towards her, but I'm not sure, and i've had a bad experience before.

First off, there are some signs:
1) Physical Contact: She touches me alot. Leans her head on my shoulder in class, touches me, pokes me.
2) Smiles at me, and talking. Feels natural around her.
3) She says that she talks about me lots outside of school. Saying i'm a nice guy and all.
4) Alot of things in common. Be it the bigger stuff in life, to the smaller stuff, we have a lot in common, its feels weird. In a good way of course.

Also, I had this dinner i had to go to, and i needed someone to come with me. Interestingly enough, she said yes.

The interesting part was after she said no to one guy over a movie, saying she did not have time for a boyfriend, and another guy likes her and kinda is awkward, and she said she does not want to date anyone from school. Yet, she comes with me to my dinner.

Now she actually comes over to my house, and mingles with parents, which went well. Also, she never saw this movie, and when i suggested i could lend it to her, she says she could just come over. I complimented her dress, she said i make her blush, and i mention we have good chemistry, and she says that she can't word it, but i make her feel comfortable when i'm around. She also wants to meet my friends.

So after a good night, I'm trying to do something again, but i'm doubting myself. Its like my confidence is gone. Mind you, she's acting the same, but i'm acting shy and quiet, almost afraid of repeating a past experience.

So , is there a chance? or am i just right?

Our Suggestion:
Everything is looking good for you.

If you let her slide out of your fingers you are crazy. You have found a companion who has a lot of things in common with you and who likes you too.

Keep asking her out and hanging out with her. Pretty soon you should ask her out or someone else will do it first.

Good luck! George
