I want him back

Visitor's Question:
Last year, his guy and i dated for like 3 months, and I had the most amazing time with him, and then, when we were going for a 4th month, i got an e-mail one friday after i had just seen him at school and he said he couldn't take the pressure from his friends because they kept telling him to kiss me but he didn't want to until he got his braces off first. But now he says I don't "put myself in the picture" and now he has a "no blondie's" policy because apparently we cause all the drama. It's been almost a year now and he and I are finally talking again but not very much, only a few words like once a week, and he always stares at me in class. Everyday I remember the most amazing memory I have with him and I just wanna burst out into tears. I've told him I still love him, and he had admitted over the summer that he misses me and misses cuddling with me and I cried. What can I say or do to tell him I miss him and would like to get back together with him, without him thinking that I am overly obsessed. Also, how do I prove to him that I can "put myself in the picture" like he claims I don't, but I do, I'm the loudest, most outgoing person his friends have ever met. He turned 13, 3 months before me, and I am currently 13 years of age.

Our Suggestion:
Just say to him that you are starting to get the good feelings you had last year when you were going together. Tell him you can kiss him lightly so his braces won't matter. And say that you can hug and cuddle and that is fun.

You seem to be putting yourself in the picture so don't worry about that and don't worry about being a blonde because he probably said those things out of nervousness.

He is older now and maybe a little more grown up.

Good luck! George
