Visitor's Question:
My boyfriend of 6 years started talking to an old high school sweet heart. She was living with a guy and has a baby with him so I really didn't think anything about it. After awhile, he started spending less time with me and calling less often. When I asked him why he said he took a second job in the evenings, it sounded ok so I believed him. Two weeks ago, we were supposed to spend the day together. I called him in the morning but he didn't answer, about an hour later he sent a text saying "sorry baby I missed your call, I am at work...I MISS YOU". I tried to call him several times through out the day but no answer. That evening I went to his house and a woman answered the door, I asked who she was and he said that is Jenny. I asked if they were together and he said yes for about a week, she has been living there. We got into an arguement and he ended up telling me he's confussed, doesn't know if he wants me or her, blah blah blah...I called him the next day to see about settling our bank account(that has both our names on it), Credit Card, insurance and other bills. He said he would come over the next night...he didn't show and he won't answer my calls. His friends say he doesn't want to settle our business cause he's afraid of letting go. What do I do? Typically in situations like this, will he eventually contact me?

Our Suggestion:
I'm sure he'll contact you, but not for the reason you hope. If you have credit cards and other things together, the bills will eventually start piling up. A man who lies to you will have no trouble spending your money. You need to get your name off anything he has access to, and never ever do this again till you're married to someone. Dump, dump, dump this guy now while you hopefully still have good credit. He doesn't care for you, and you deserve much much more from a relationship.
