Giving a Hickey Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I want to give my girlfriend a hickey, but i don't know really how to do it or if i should be doing something with my hands. I really don't want to just be sitting there sucking on her neck i want to make it something we both will like. How do you really give a hickey that will stay there? Not something that will be red for a sec and go away. Please help me!! Our Suggestion: A hickey is a wound. It's not something to plan out as a great, pleasureable experience :) You are breaking blood vessels in her body in order to cause blood to get loose under her skin, in a way that will bruise for a long time. If you really want to do it, then do it and get it over with :) Then watch her walk around with the bruise, as it turns purple and heals.
