I'm Cheating and Hiding It

Visitor's Question:
First off, I'm almost certain I have a drinking problem. This is where it starts. I'm a "good girl" when I'm not drinking...get a few shots in me and turn into raging horn dog...well, perhaps not that bad, but you get the idea!

Here's the dilemma...I have a steady boyfriend. We've been together for 3 years and we have a 2 year old son. He and I were sort of "thrown" together, and really don't have too much in common. But it works! I'm insecure as it is, and he really doesn't pay as much attention to me as I would like. But, I can most assuredly say I love the dork and have no intention of going anywhere!

BUT...I have had my drunken make-out sessions with other men. I haven't taken it to what I call the next level. I mean I haven't had sex with any other men since my honey and I have started dating. But this drunken heavy petting still inflicts such a guilty feeling. I don't want to tell him for fear that he'll think I DID go all the way...plus end up having him not trust me. AND even worse, have the relationship end.

So, I guess my main question would be...Is a drunken make out session grounds enough for the "I'm cheating on you speech..."? Should I just leave it alone, and obviously tone down my drinking?

But wait...THERE'S MORE...there's this one "drinking buddy" I have, I'm not really attracted to him physically, but we can talk about everything, add few drinks, stir, and *POOF* he and I are making out like 2 pimply kids on prom night. We do have a lot of sexual chemistry, but have never "done it". So..here's the WHOPPER - Is a drunken session of making out considered cheating? DUH! But, now what?

Our Suggestion:
YES kissing another guy is cheating! Never mind, putting yourself into a situation where you have lost control is completely irresponsible if you're in a committed relationship. If you have a child at home, you shouldn't be putting yourself into these situations at all. It's time for you to get your drinking under control. What happens if your kid has an accident and you are drunk out of your mind, making out with a stranger?
