But he's been dating this very cool girl and I've been very happy for him. But a few weeks ago, he and I were hanging out and we ended up having sex. I feel very guilty since he cheated on his girl partly because of me. He tells me that I'm special and that his gf knows that. But if I'm really that special, why is he dating someone else? I do miss him, but I don't want to be the cause of pain for her (I guess it's too late for that). I'm so confused.. Why did he sleep with me? I want him, but does he just want me for sex? Our Suggestion: He may just want you for sex. I don't know of any guy who would turn down a chance to have sex with someone else and get away with it. In the end, you really shouldn't feel guilty about hurting his current girlfriend because if the two of you didn't go at it, he would have found someone else. It seems to me that he wants it all and, in the real world, you can't have it all. Hopefully, someday, he'll learn that. In the meantime, forget about him and move on because even if you do get back with him, how do you know that his current girlfriend won't be "special" and he won't do the same with her that he did with you?
