Our Suggestion: You don't want to go up to him and say "I like you!" in any case! The best relationships begin with friendships. Just be friends with him, talk to him, hang out with him. Then let things develop from there. You don't want your friends doing relationship stuff for you - they will notoriously screw things up. You want to build your own relationship, slowly and steadily.
