Visitor's Question:
Ok..so here are my 2 questions. This guy i met through my bestfriend (cause she liked him) is a really nice, sweet, gentlemen, VERY cute guy. Anyways me and my bestfriend went and hung out with him a couple days ago, well we were just fooling around and having fun, until we kissed...then we were talking and kissing (ALOT) and then we went home.

THen the next day i saw him agin and we started kissing. And the thing is my friend is dating my cousin but i think she still likes this guy, (even though she says she doesnt and that they are just friends.)And we bothed asked him if he had a thing for one another and he said he did but for both of us it was really hard for him to choose one.

How do I get the guy without hurting myself or my friend?(even though she is seriously dating my cousin!!!)Another thing is he's very confused or maybe its just a guy thing...but one day he'll be kissing me and acting all sweet and another day he'll be flirting with my friend and acting like he doesnt even care! I'm really unhappy about this to the point were i get headachs thinking about it so much, and i seriously just want to break down and cry..do u think this means he doesnt like me and is just using me for hs little toy! I dont want to be used i just want to be loved!

Our Suggestion:
Your best friend is seriously dating your cousin. She shouldn't be leading on other guys if she is - that would be incredibly disrespectful of her. Light flirting is one thing and is OK - but if you're getting that upset about it, it sounds like what she is doing is far more serious. Also, if this guy is a sweet gentleman, he should NOT be flirting with a girl that is taken, right in front of a girl (i.e. you) that obviously cares for him and has been kissing him! That is pretty rude.

You are kissing this guy. You already have a connection with him. So work on that connection. If he starts ignoring you and going after your friend, then flirt with him and make a comment that he's chasing someone who is taken instead of enjoying the single woman by his side. I'd have a talk with this "friend" too. A friend would support you in your love life while she already has a love life of her own. For her to date one guy AND to go after the guy you're interested in isn't being a friend - it's being selfish.
