He said we could get back together but first I have to prove to him that I won't break up with him out of the blue. Now since I broke up with him I've realized that this is true love and not just puppy love and he knows this he's also told me how much he loves me and how scared he is that I will hurt him again. Our Suggestion: In one way, he is asking you to prove something that cannot be proven. The only way to prove that you won't dump him again is to live it. I suppose what he wants is some effort on your part to express your sincerity strongly enough that he can believe you again. The biggest key to convincing him is open communication.
