Visitor's Question:
My boyfriend is such a loving guy, he treats me like no one has ever treated me.We have been together for 10 months and we've moved in together 4 months ago. He used to talk to his ex sometimes and I was extremely jealous of that.He told me there was nothing going on between them and he would never date her again even if he had a chance to.It still caused us many arguements so he cut off his friendship with her.I thought my jealousy would go away but it's still haunting me every time there is a pretty girl out there. He's a very social guy but never flirts and doesn't believe in cheating. He has a lot of female friends and they are just friends but i am always worrying. He will be going back to university soon and i know he will be making lots of female friends which makes me very jealous. He is a sweetheart and people can see that. We've sat down and talked about our committment to each other and he promised me he'd never cheat on me because he's got everything he ever wanted in a girl with me.He told me I am his future wife and talks about our dream house and stuff like that. He's trustworthy but i am still worried he might meet a girl and fall in love with her.Help me get rid of these thoughts since i have a creative imagination and this relationship will fail if i don't smarten up with my jealousy. My past relationships failed because of my jealous and possesive sides.

Our Suggestion:
I feel sorry for you that you are so jealous. It is a terrible feeling to feel jealous and especially when you know it is unfounded.

Hopefully you have read our tips on jealousy already, but just in case you haven't take a look at: http://www.romanceclass.com/miscr/LoveCat/23682

Buy a book on jealousy, or look in your local library for a book. If you have access to a counselor, look for some help in that direction. You need to do something, because this relationship seems worth the effort.
