Visitor's Question:
I can't find an answer to this one, so here goes. I met this guy on-line last year through an internet site. I am in grad school, he owns his own business. We are both very busy. I admitted to him at Christmas that I liked him-- he kept trying to set me up with guys...he said I just don't have time for a relationship, and then I started school in this January, and I don't either. We talk to each other once a week, and we get together about once a week...and whenever we're in the same room or a car, alone...we can't keep our hands off each other. He and I have an attaction to each other that is just crazy. My friends all can tell he likes me before I even thought he might, but I am not sure...last week, we fooled around for hours, but we haven't had sex yet, because we don't want to complicate things or become involved that way and mess up the friendship. He has started to buy me lunch, asking me about guys, trying to push my buttons...he is hugging and holding me now, things he never did before...but I am pretty sure he is still dating other girls, and until recently, I was dating other guys(until homework started). We even talk about the future and kids and stuff, but never related to us, just in general. I think he likes me, but will this ever develop into anything more, or are we just trying to pass time? He has met my parents, which was odd, and he let me drive his car, which, I know from the past, he let any girl do because he doesn't trust what will happen to it. He also has told me that I am just fine and I don't need anyone to set me up with their friends, which is odd, as he used to try to do that himself. Should I hang on and think this could be something when both our lives calm down, or just move on and forget about the thought? I do like him, but I don't want a dead-end where we don't even try, so I don't want to even waste my time if that's where it's going to go...we're both 25 and most say we act like 15 yr. olds together, trash talking each other and making fun, but we trust each other too...What do you think?

Our Suggestion:
Too busy to have a stronger relationship? That is a poor excuse for not being closer. Both of you seem to enjoy what you have so you could just let thing go an as is and see what happens. That is my advice. If you split up, you still won't have time for a serious relationship so why not keep what is working reasonably well.

Good luck,
George
