Silence

Visitor's Question:
I have an ex-boyfriend whom I work with. We've been together for a year and we broke up 5 months ago. He left me for another girl that use to work with us. He told me he was in love with both of us and had to choose. Anyway, the beginning of the break up, I chose not to speak to him at all or her. I use to get along with her, and she knew we were a loving couple, everyone at our job loved us together and are very upset with his actions and don't understand why he did what he did. She quits like a month later, and I decided to break the silence with him and try to be friends(we were friends before we got together). We keep going back and forth talking then not talking at all. He kissed me passionately one day when we went out. He then talks about being intimate but I didn't do anything with him. Then he says he wasn't trying to lead me on and we should be friends. He claims that I didn't show that I trusted him enough when we were together and claims that she does. She has 2 kids and lied to him about one of her kids being her niece(I found this out from a mutual friend that my ex told this to). He also says that he's moving to Georgia soon, which doesn't help much either. We walk pass each other like we never met. What should I do about this repetitive cycle of silence.I still love him dearly but I miss our friendship more than anything. We use to be inseperable, now we're two ships passing in the night. I want to pull him to the side but I don't know what words to say to him. What should I do, Please help me!

Our Suggestion:
If he is moving to Georgia, you won't be seeing him again. So why not just move on now. If you want to be more than ships passing in the night, then say hi to him when you see him.

Good luck,
George
