Boyfriend cheated when he was drunk Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My boyfriend has cheated on me in the past. Both times were with friends of mine and both times he was drunk. I have tried to get over them, but the second time really bothered me. So now I feel that everytime he hangs out with his friends/my friends something will happen. We both want to make it work. He says he wont ever do it agian seeing how much it hurt me, but everytime I start to trust him he does something to make me doubt him.It has been a year since both of his cheating happened. What should I do? Our Suggestion: The last time he cheated on you was a year ago. But, you say that everytime you start to trust him he does something that makes you doubt him. What is it that he is doing new besides from a year ago? Are you sure you aren't still blaming him for what happened a year ago? If things are going to work out, you will need to trust him again. One way to increase trust is to have honest conversations with each other whenever you can so that each of you can ask the other important questions about your relationship.
