Keep telling her you love her

Visitor's Question:
My girlfriend broke up with me a month ago on the account that she wasn't sure of her feelings for me and needed time to think. I during that time did not want to break up at all because i really loved her. I tried talking to her but nothing would work untill one day i lost my temper because of her being so stubborn and told her that i wanted her back because of i might be leaving the country in 5 months to study abroad and that i just wanted to be with her as long as i could. That was my biggest mistake. When i told her, she told me that she's now really sure that she doesn't want a relationship becuse she doesn't want to be with a person who she knows is going to leave in the next few months.

So my problem is that it's been a month and nothing has changed between us. We talk to each other everyday. She calls me or i call her.But i still love her and after a month my feelings haven't changed. I'm being torn apart because of this and the worse part is that she still has strong feelings for me too but i can't do anything because she's being stubborn. I really feel helpess and i know it's mostly over but i still love her.

Our Suggestion:
There isn't a lot you can do except keep telling her that you love her and that long distance romances can work out.

Ask her out on dates and see what happens. She might say yes.

If she is, as you say, stubborn then there isn't much that will work to change her mind. You know her well, so you will have to be the judge of whether your efforts are just making her more stubborn or working towards the opposite.

Sorry you are in this fix!

Good luck,
George
