Visitor's Question:
Hi, I met this girl at school, and we talked to each other for a little bit and became very good friends, and she was very inlove with me from that point on. We hung out a little more, then finally kissed, and then went out.... a couple days later she broke up with me and said that she was not ready for a boyfriend, and some other reasons, she was very nice about it and so I said that i still really want to be friends with her.... she said yes. The next day, she wouldnt talk to me, avoiding me, not looking at me, and blocked me online. I did not like this so i tried to talk to her, but she "ran away". finally her friends saw what she was doing and decided to talk to her and told her what she was doing.... she then wrote an e-mail to me talking about everything that happened and more reasons that she wanted to break up with me, I wrote something back, and now she doesnt run, or ignore me as much, but she still does not really talk to me, and she hasnt unblocked me from talking to her online. how do i become good friends with her again, and break the awkardness? Thanks (P.S. I see her everyday at school)

Our Suggestion:
It will take time for you to become good friends with her. And it is possible that she will never be as close again. My guess is that she is embarrassed about breaking up with you and that's why she cut off friendship.

Slowly regain her friendship by showing her that you have no hard feelings. Do this by saying hi to her every day and talk with her whenever you can. Don't push too hard because she will be nervous at first.

Eventually she could become a good friend again.

Sure hope so!
George
