Listen to your motherSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: When does it all start to come together and make sense? Going on four months seeing just this one guy and one weekend things seem to fall into order and the next seems like we took a step backwards not forward. We spend every weekend together, talk every day and he finally met all my family at a gathering we had. He keeps telling me he doesn't want anything serious but sometimes his actions doesn't follow. He brings up examples if we were to get married, or asks what kind of father do i think he would be. When other guys talk to me he gets a little jealous and makes it clear that i was with him. I spoke with my mom and she thinks he's just afraid of admitting he has feelings for me, because she says that if we were just friends he wouldn't take me to nice restuarants or see each other every weekend and he wouldn't of wanted to meet my family. I just don't know, in this case does his actions speak louder than his words? I don't want to get my hopes up just to be let down, been there done that and I can't do it anymore. I really have strong feelings for him, but does he for me? He won't answer the question properly I think he keeps saying he doesn't want anything serious over and over to make himself believe it? My mom says usually around his age (28 and I'm 23)they start thinking about settling down but won't admit to it, why else would he bring up those questions? Our Suggestion: Your mother is a smart woman. She seems to have analyzed this situation and figured it out. Your best move would be to just hang loose and let what will be be.
