Visitor's Question:
My ex boyfriend and I have not been together in over three months, but I still have not gotten over him. We were together for 2 1/2 years, and we lived together. I can admit we argued alot because I was the sole provider in the relationship, and I would take my frustrations out on him. Also, I never met his family the whole time we were together, and I know that hurt him. So, I can see why he left because there was some bad times, but he makes me feel as if we never had any good times. A week ago, he called me to ask about some mail that he was looking for which made me upset because I have not heard from him in weeks. So, I threw his check in the trash, and called him and told him that I did that. I really let him have a piece of mind because I am still hurting eventhough majority of the problems we had were my fault. But, after I said all those horrible things I felt bad, and took his check to his sister's house. I still love him with all my heart, and wish one day we could give it another try. But, currently he has a new girlfriend that he has been seeing since we have been broken up. My question to you is how should I feel about this new girlfriend? He has told me that he just started seeing her when we broke up, but I don't believe that because they have become very close, and he lives with her. Eventhough I did get frustrated with him how am i suppose to feel. I feel as if he had this girl while we were together, and he expects me to accept it because I was at fault for the fall of the relationship. I am still human, and this hurts me everyday that he just started a new life with her so quickly , and never gave me a second glance. He brought her to my part-time job where I use to work, and still occasionally visit which made me feel has if he's throwing her up in my face because he knows everyone told me about her.

Please advise me of what I should do about my feelings toward him having a new girlfriend, so quickly and him throwing her in my face?

Our Suggestion:
Honesty is usually the best policy.

Call him and tell him that you still love him and that it hurts you when he brings his new girlfriend around. Ask him not to do it anymore. If he is an honorable man he will respect your wishes.

I hope this turns out well for you.
