My boyfriend dumped me the second time 6 month ago because we had a long distance relationship. We were going out before but broke up for a year because I moved to another country. When I came back we got back together.

Now I finished university and I got a job in the same town as his. I would like to see him again just to hang out with him again. We talk over e-mail but everytime I ask him whether he wants to meet up he either does not reply or makes up an excuse. I do not think he has a new girlfriend nor do I think that he dislikes me.

What is wrong with him? Why does he not want to see me? And how can I get to be friends with him again. He left me not vice versa!

Our Suggestion:
Be very clear with him that you want him back as a friend.

He may have the idea that you want him back for more than a friend and he may not be ready for that.

Suggest a particular thing to do like dinner or whatever.

He will give in eventually.
