Do you have some advice for this person?

I am 8 months pregnant and my ex broke up with me when I was about a month and a half along. He hasn't helped me with this pregnancy and wants me to give this baby his last name. I don't think he has the right if he doesn't want the help. I guess what I am trying to say is do you think he has the right? And how do I get over someone I love and am having a child with?

You might want to talk to a lawyer or legal aid about getting child support payments from him.

Regarding the name issue, the decision is entirely yours. Do you want the baby to have your last name or his? Entirely your choice. He should have no say-so.

Getting over love takes time, in your case it will take a little longer because of the baby. Just hang in there and time will heal your hurts.
