I was the one who wanted out but I now know that she is my dream woman

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
My ex wife and I were married for 17 years. We have been divorced for almost 2 years now, I was the one who wanted out but I now know that she is my dream woman. She considers me, immature, a drama king, a negative person, but, I know that she loved me very much. For some reason we
don't talk anymore even though we separated amicably and with a kiss, she refuses to even see me when I visit her mother and doesn't say why to no one.
I want her back and I want her to know that I have learned
my lesson. What can I do? I don't want to impose myself over but I need to talk to her ( can't e mail her, she blocked me )

Our Suggestion:
Sounds like your best hope is to write her a letter and explain to her just how you feel and that you would like to get back together.

My guess is that it won't do much good, but it is something to try.

Put in the letter how much you love her and how you have changed since you broke up. Do a good job because it may be the only chance to get a reply from her. At the end of the letter ask her out to a fancy restaurant or something else you two like to do.

Good luck to you!
George
