Visitor's Question:
My live in boyfriend of 3 years broke up about 5 mths ago, but I didn't actually move out of his house until about 2 mths ago. The problem is is that I bought a house write by him & since we have been broken up we still talk & I go up to his house, but I still have feelings for him & want to work things out, but he doesn't. He says he doesn't want a relationship w/anyone right now. I know I should cut all ties w/him, but it seems to hard for me to never see or talk to him. He says he doesn't care that I go to his house or that we still talk, but he doesn't understand that it is harder for me to move on. I guess my question is Since I still have feelings for him should I give up our friendship & stop going around & then maybe he might realize what he lost or should I continue to talk to him almost everyday?? It just seems that he never really had a chance to miss me since he sees still me all the time. It's just so hard for me to stay away from him, but I keep hanging on to the thought of him realizing he wants me back. Another problem is is that I have a 9yr old son that doesn't want to stop seeing him because he too goes to his house to talk to him. If I cut all ties is it fair for me to not allow my son to talk to him too?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated..Thank you

Our Suggestion:
My advice is to talk all these issues out with him.

This would include his relationship with your son which a critical piece of the puzzle.

Talking is a good way to get your relationship perking again... when you have gentle conversations with trust, honesty, attentiveness, and humor your relationship will natural build up those characteristics and may soon turn back to physical attraction.

Give it a change, you have nothing to lose!
