Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
My girlfriend of three and 1/2 years broke up with me about two months ago. She said she needed a change and wanted to not hvae to worry about a realstionship. We were broken up for about a month then she started comming back around saying that she could not live without me and stuff like that. I was very sceptical about taking her back, but she is the only girl that I have ever loved. Since talking her back we have become open sexually and emotionally. I have always been closed off emotionally because of the death of my sister and best friend both at the age of 18, so it was hard being to open. We have been back together for about a month and then she says she is not sure anymore. I cant figure out why she keeps doing this, she says she still loves me and wants to be with me, but at the same time try the single life and no have to worry about a relationship. It is tearing me apart inside. I have no idea what to do about this. IF we do get back together will she just break it off again?? Please Help

Our Suggestion:
If you are open emotionally, try to dig deeper into the reasons why she wants to break up.

She did it once before and then game back to you. Did she ever give a good explanatiion for that?

I don't have any good ideas for you since she's done this twice... the old advice about remaining friends with her is obvious but not always easy to do.

Is it possible that she couldn't handle the open emotional relationship? Try to find out while you still can.

If she wants to come back again, you will probably do so and I see no problem with that.

Lots of luck!
George
