Visitor's Question: Hi, i e-mailed you about a month ago becuase me and my boy freind were having alot of problems. you told me that i have gived my boy freind plenty of time and opportunity to get his life back together and faild at it and faild me so i should break up with him. After that i talked to him and told him that we should take a break, but after a couple of days i started to miss him. so insted of moving out, i just stayed there on the weekends and lived with my parents doring the week. things were kinda getting better, he got a new job, but then he got into a car accsident. now i have to drive him to work and all over the place, and things have just gotten real bad between us. i really just want to move back in with my parents an concentrate on school and work, and stop all this drama that he always brings into my life. but now im afrid to break up with him becuase if i do, he has no way of getting to work, and he dosnt have anywhere to move to. he has already told people in forunt of me that if it wasnt for me giving him rides to work, he would kill himself. i dont want to be responsible for him dying. i dont know what to do. maybe i should just buy him a car and then after things settle down leave? Our Suggestion: He has now made things worse for you. By threatening to kill himself he is holding that over your head so you will have no choice but to stay with him and keep giving him rides. This is no way to live in a relationship. My advice is to see a professional therapist and get some good suggestions on how to handle the situation.
