Visitor's Question:
My girl and I dated for 5 months. Everything was going really great for a long time as she had got out of an emotionally abusive 2-year relationship about 7 months before we had first started dating. Only thing strange is the relationship didn't seem to come down to the "I love you" stage. I figured during our relationship that I would let her come out with her emotions before I started bombarding her with my feelings, given her previous boyfriend. I had loved her for about 3 months into it. I would always hint at it but never told her flat out. I felt as if she did as well but neither of us gussied up. Well another 2 months went by and she all-of-a-sudden breaks up with me. (No gradual disinterest or anything). I never ended up telling her and we had planned a trip to Europe for 3 weeks. I accepted that we would be friends and we had a great time. She would always want to spoon with me in bed and I could tell she still had feelings for me but I respected her decision to be friends. When we came back I didn't talk to her for about a week and I went to see her one night and told her my true feelings. She told me that she had loved me also and that we both cared for each other. She also had planned to visit a 'friend' in Virginia for the weekend. She asked me to drive her to airport and we got along great. She wanted to hug me twice! And here I am now.

Our Suggestion:
At least you are in a good position to get her back again. You seem to still be best friends and care for each other.

Keep up that situation and maybe she will come back to you.

Good luck!
George
