I don't understand why he does not want me to go if we are in a committed relationship

My boyfriend that I have been dating since January and he is in a wedding this October. He has talked about going to it but has never asked me to go with him. Last night I confronted him about it and I asked if there was a girl there and that was the reason he did not ask me to go. He said yes but that he only saw her a couple of times and it was no big deal. He says he is not going to see her but I don't understand why he does not want me to go if we are in a committed relationship. He says he does not see her anymore and they really did not date. He said he does not even know if she has a boyfriend. Is it ok that I feel really upset about the vagueness of this?



Our Suggestion:
Let him go and don't worry about it.

If he is the cheating type, he will cheat. If he isn't he won't.
How much do you trust him? That is an important question.

If you make a big issue of this, it sends him a bad message about how you feel about him. If your relationship is worth anything then you should trust him away for a bit.
