Visitor's Question:
Me and my ex have recently broken up. She broke up with me because she had some issues letting things from the past go. She held in feelings for a year. We were together for 3 years. We were eachothers first love and I was her first sexual partner. Now I broke up with her last summer and she thought I was messing with another girl that was my friend and now she's bent on revenge. She's still holding things over my head that happened at least a year ago. She felt like I didn't trust her and that I wasn't there for her when she had an abortion. Now she did not want the baby and I did. So how can she blame me for not going to clinic with her? But after she cameback I was right there holding and consoueling her. It's been 2 months and 4 days and I miss her what should I do? She's also moving to North Carolina for school and she has a friend that she likes downthere. When she broke up with me her friends and family told her that she was making a mistake by doing so but she did not want to listen. None of them were behind her (Mother, Father, Sisters, Cousins etc.) They told her I was a good man and she still didn't want to listen. I think she needs to explore the world alittle more, and see that good men are hard to find but I don't want her to get hurt by other lying, cheating men in the process. Please Help if you can! What do I do?

Our Suggestion:
Make sure she knows you still love her and want her back. Say it plain and simple to her.

You are going to have a tough time dealing with the long-distance problem, but others have successfully survived. Maybe you should consider moving down there and getting a job. Although, that might cause her concern. Talk it thru with her before you do it.

Of course, try to be her best friend and be there for her whenever she needs you. Hopefully you split up as friends.

Good luck!
George
