Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
Hi,

I submitted a question a few days ago, and it was determined that my ex is just afraid of committment. Is there anything I can do to help him over come this fear? Also, how do I know I am not wasting my time if he really isn't in love with me. Right now he says he doesn't know. There are just so many unanswered questions and that is hardest part right now. He says he wants to be friends, but he never picks up the phone to call and say hi and to see how things are going. There are days I feel like I just don't care anymore and I am just going to move on with my life, but then the next days I spend so much time thinking about him and missing him. I love him so much, I just wish I knew if he loves me and how I can help him figure things out. Do you think I should just stop calling him (I call maybe every other day). He is always really nice when I talk to him on the phone but he isn't really a phone person either so he doesn't really say a lot, but maybe that is part of the whole break up thing and not knowing what to say. I don't know. Sometimes I feel annoying asking all of these questions, I just wish I had some answers. When we first broke up I asked him a couple of these questions and for every answer he just said he didn't know and doesn't know. UGGG.

I love him and I want him back, but may be I am wasting my time trying. I do know he is worth it, but how do I know if he is just going through another phase like the last times we broke up? (Remember this is the 3rd or 4th time going through this with him).

- wanting my love back.

Our Suggestion:
Maybe you shouldn't call him so often.

Give him space and see what happens. It certainly does sound like he is not interested in you the way things are going. So maybe you should back off and see if that helps.

At some point you will have to make up your mind... to keep trying or to let him go. Only you will when that will be and what your decision will be.

Good luck!
George
