Visitor's Question:
Me and my ex were together for a year and now have been apart for about a year and I haven't takled to her.In the beginning things were great we were so inlove with each other but, toward the end we would argue to much over stupid things.I broke up with her because we were having problems. We got back together after 1 mouth and everthing was going well but, again the stupid arguments started. We got into a huge serious arguement and she started to hit me and say hurtfull things but, I didn't hit her back. I just agrued and raised my voice. after that about two weeks later I started to feel as though I was not serious about the relationship like I was at the beginning.I was confused inside.I told her how I was feeling inside and said that I need time to figure out were I want to be.From then on we fell out of contact.I blame eveything that went wrong on me.Sometimes I think that maybe if I just stayed with her and worked alittle bit harder to make things better in the relationship we would still be together.I've dated but I doesn't seem to help I still think about her,and I seems no one else can take her place.I will always love her and still do.I want to know how she's doing, should I call her, should I try again, and is it possible we can get back together after all this time apart. How do I go about this situation I'm in.

Our Suggestion:
There is an old Latin saying: "Dum spiro, spero" which loosely translated means while I'm alive I still have hope.

That's the way you should feel. You never know what she is thinking and feeling. To find out, ask her out on a date. Worst thing she can do is say no.

If you want to start more slowly, call her up and ask her out she is and if she talks nicely to you ask her if you could go out as friends. Then gradually let her know how strongly you feel.

Good luck!
George
