Visitor's Question:
Hey George,

My gf broke up with me recently, a couple of days ago, and i want her back, so here's the situation.

She recently went on a youth expedition project (YEP) and during that trip, her interest in this r/s between us faded a little, according to her. However, i was not informed about it, so i didn't know. It went on to further fade to nothing, and i had been treating her real bad these few days, before she told me that she wasn't interested in us anymore. The reason i was treating her bad was because i hadn't been able to get much sleep lately, and ended up irritable and can't-be-bothered attitude.

Now she says that she has

1)Zero interest in us
2)Does not love me as a bf anymore, but definitely a very special friend, and a special person to her.

I asked her to take me back on the night she broke up with me, but she refused, stubbornly, so i suggested being friends, a special one. I was pretty depressed, and ended up drunk and sleeping on the streets. The next day i looked her up, and we talked about stuff, but she still refused to get back together, so i told her to reconsider, and she promised me that she would, however, she would still cry, and was crying most of the time i was with her, well, so was i.

At the end of the day, before i left her home, i asked her, "Are you gonna reconsider? Or do u have an answer to it before u even started to reconsider?" and she told me, "Yesterday i refused to reconsider at all, but at least today i can still consider about it."

So the question now is, :

1) Does she still love me as a bf?
2) Is there a possibility of us getting back together?
3) Why is she crying, even when she said she will reconsider about it?
4) What should i do to get her back?
5) What is, after thinking about it, she decided that she didn't want to continue. What should i do to make her think through it again? *I do not want to give up on her, that's why i am determined to get her back, therefore i need help*

Thanks a lot, sorry for the long essay =(
Have a nice day!

Our Suggestion:
It is too early to answer your questions.

Her feelings are not set in stone yet and there is a reasonable chance that she will return to you.

My advice is to keep your friendship strong and don't push her about your relationship. She needs time to think. Meanwhile, call her occasionaly to see how she is doing... don't talk too long or she will feel pressured.

Also, treat her very tenderly since part of the problem was your irritability when you weren't getting enough sleep.

Good luck! George
