My friend knows I like her because I told her I had feelings for her. She has a boyfriend though. Ever since we knew each other even before I told her I liked her I haven't been able to figure out where I stand with her. When I see her she says it's good to see me and she gives me hugs. When we hang out we have fun and have good conversations. However I am always the one calling and trying to make plans and it seems we only hang out when it's convenient for her. I always initiate conversations on AIM with her and she seems uninteretsed. I really care about her a lot. I know she likes me as a friend. I want to become best friedns with her so if she and her bf break up we can transition into dating. How do I do this? PLease Help

Sounds like you already are a best friend.

Her boyfriend should be her most best friend.

She may not be communicative on AIM simply because she doesn't like AIM. See if she is willing to share her phone number and perhaps she will spend more time with you.
