Visitor's Question:
Hi guys...

Wonder if anyone can explain to me what actually went wrong in my relationship with my girl friend??
I am 26 and she is 25 we have been going out for just over a year.
We have always got on great until about a month ago and all turned weird, she never wanted to go out with me places, sex stopped for over a month, it was never really her thing anyway but I made an issue of the fact I don't get any.
I Love her to bits she means the world to me and up until a a month ago the feeling on her behalf was the same.
What happened is I had a couple of beers one night and went round her house early hours in the morning shouting my head off because I miss read a situation.
We got over this and were fine and then she dropped a bomb shell on me saying im going to America you coming or not.I choose not to, I said if we waited for a bit and tried living together first.
For me that is a really big step, I said im not going so she said im dumped basically.
I Always thought we were solid and we talked about getting a flat, having kids all that kind of stuff all the time.not moving to America.
She also told me that she still thinks about her husband alot, they were married for 12 months and he beat her up and run off and had a baby with there next door naighbour????
How am I supposed to understand this??

Her description
Suffers with minor depression
in and out of jobs at mo
loves America
very tight with money
not sexually motivated (might just be me?)
Doesn't look like there is another bloke on the seen

My description
bit of a lad like a beer and a laugh
can be a bit jealous but not over bearing
very generous but not soft
hate America
high sex drive

If anyone can understand or give me possibilities and should I try and save the relationship I would love to hear:)
Cheers guys!

Our Suggestion:
Definitely don't go to America with her.

Something's troubling her and the best thing is your idea of moving in together and trying to work out the problems. Maybe you should suggest to her that you try living together for a year and see if you can iron out your differences. If in a year's time she still wants to go to America you can decide whether you want to go with her or not.

This idea seems fair to both of you and likely to produce a certain outcome.

My best wishes are with you! George
