Visitor's Question:
Okay I just got your response to my e-mail from yesterday (sorry about this). Something else has happened, though. Yesterday at school I saw him at lunch and tried to ignore him (trying to see if I can just get over him, not working so far) and he called my name twice and so I turned around and talked to him for a few minutes. I then went and sat with my friends and ate. After that I walked upstairs and was talking to a friend of mine when he all of a sudden he comes up the stairs and says, "Hey, I didn't get my hug". So I turned around and gave him a hug (more than a friend hug again). So I said I had to get to class and he kept walking with me telling me had a great weekend, etc. When we got outside of my class room, he gave me another hug and it was pretty long and he was talking to me while hugging me. Then my teacher came out and I had to go. Then on my way home from school I was walking with my best friend and she told me that a girl in one of her classes that was at the bowling alley last Fri. (one of the girls he was flirting with) told my friend that my ex was going to go on a date with one of her friends that was at the bowling alley too. That of course crushed me!!! My friend is supposed to talk to him about this to make sure that it is true. If he so obviously has these feelings for me still, why would he go on a date with someone else? I'm thinking that maybe it's because he doesn't think I really care any more because I have been trying really hard to act like I don't. This girl is not his girl friend yet, they are just supposedly "going on a date" according to her friend. My friend has not talked to him about it yet. I wonder if I let someone tell him about how I still feel, if he might not go out with her and want to go out with me again. I know he still has strong feelings for me - the hugs, the flirting, the telling me I'm cute all the time, admitting it to other people, etc. What do you think I should do and do you think he still wants me or has decided to move on? Also, I was thinking he might be doing it to make me jealous. I hope I didn't mess up by acting like I don't care any more.

Our Suggestion:
You've written many times and each time I've said that he seems to like you and you need to let him know you like him too.

So, if you like him ask him out on a date. He will say yes and then you can proceed from there. If you dawdle around you may lose him.

Good luck! George
