What is going on with me?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleI HAD AN INTENSE PROFOUND 2 YEAR RELATIONSHIP WITH MY EX, WE WENT THROUGH EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE, IT WAS A RELATIONSHIP OUT OF HEAVEN. ONE DAY SHE JUST BROKE UP WITH ME AND TOLD ME SHE DIDNT FEEL THE SAME WHICH I FOUND TO BE AWFULLY AWKWARD BUT I LEFT HER ALONE, GAVE HER SPACE. ITS NOW GOING TO BE 6 MONTHS SINCE OUR BREAKUP AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH I HAVE FOUGHT IT AND TRIED TO GET OVER IT, I LOVE THAT GIRL TO DEATH, ALWAYS HAVE ALWAYS WILL. SHE NOW HAS A NEW BOYFREND FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS WHO SHE CLAIMS TO LOVE BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW SHE COULD FALL IN LOVE AGAIN SO FAST. I OVERHEARD HER EVEN SAYIN SHE WANTS TO SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE WITH HIM WHICH MADE MY HEART DROP. THE LOVE I FEEL FOR THIS GIRL IS REAL LOVE, DEEP INTO MY HEART, AND IT KILLS ME INSIDE DAY BY DAY KNOWING SHE'S IN HIS ARMS. I TRY TALKING TO HER BUT SHE TRIES TO AVOID ME SOMETIMES LIKE IF SHE WAS SCARED TO TALK. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE, I'M SUFFERING BECAUSE I LOVE A GIRL WHO SEEMS TO LOVE SOMEONE ELSE NOW, WHAT CAN I DO TO GET HER BACK, EVEN IF IT TAKES MONTHS?
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou are in a tough spot.
She has a boyfriend and has trouble talking with you.
My best advice is to become her good friend again. Try this... call her once a week for 15 min to tell her you miss her and still care for her and wish her luck and ask how she is doing. Be cheerful and don't dwell on your old relationship. Tell her you are willing to be friends but you aren't giving up hope.
Good luck! George
