is it still worth the fight?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
well it all started out wen we met each other wen we were hanging with our friends i thought it would be cool to go talk to her so i did and then i noticed i liked her so a few days go by and somehow my friends find out and tell her and she says that she also likes me so i give her a call one night because we couldnt go party and i was supposed to ask her at the party but we couldnt go anyways i gave her a call and talked to her about her feelings for me and my feelings for her so finally i asked if she wanted to let me be her gauranty she gave me some qeustions and finally said she did not want to be in pain anymore because every time she expresses her feelings she hurts someone she says so she wanted to be alone for awhile so i said ok im cool then... 2 days later i found out that she was asked out by my friend and she said yea but they only went out for a week so then she calls me talking about how she knows how i felt and that she is sorry for making me feel down and used to get close to another person now shes giving me these signs that she wants to be with me and i dont know what i should do because i REALLY did like her but i dont have most of those feelings that i used to have for her i dont know what to do, do you think it is still worth the fight because shes a really nice person and all and shes cute too and im not that kinda guy to make people feel bad so i dont know what or how to do it....can you help me?
