should i take a lie detector test to prove im telling the truth
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Femalei had a boyfriend on the first stage of our relationship i lied a lot of things to him. I didnt told him because im afraid that he might leave me. I also had an affair but it was a long time already. I told him everything because i dont want to hide things to him. To myself i know that i had done a lot of mistakes and im really trying hard to change everything and im not telling lies anymore. But he wanted me to take a lie detector test to prove im not telling lies anymore. Im not really sure about it because i dont know how accurate the lie detector test is. Its not that im hiding things or still telling a lies but i dont believe it. He said that the only way he can believe me again. I really dont know what to do. I know ive change already and i regret everything already and never done anything wrong anymore to him. I love him very much and i dont want to lose him.
What should i do? Do i have to take it or not? What are the other options i have?

Your boyfriend has to learn to trust you and the way to do that is to constantly tell him the truth about everything and he will start to trust you.
