Confused
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleOh where do I start.
Ok… so last year I wasn’t the greatest looking guy I had acne and I had about a inch of fat over my abs but I made myself know to a lot of girls and really got my game tight. I had a girlfriend for about 4 months and she was one of the hottest in my class. She dumped me and I was mad but got over it and still had a lot of girls that liked me. The next year came and I lost a lot of my zits and got a six pack. But after a couple of weeks of school I heard that the girl I dated said the only reason she went out with me was because she felt sorry for me. After I heard that I was crushed, I never said anything bad about her after we broke so it wasn’t for revenge. I haven’t been the same since I lost all the confidence I had gained and I barely talk to girls anymore. I have tried to get over what I heard but every time I go and talk to a girl and flirt I always think she doesn’t like me or I’m ugly or whatever else. I don’t know what to do anymore and to make things even harder there is a girl I really like and can of talk to. She always laughs at my jokes and I make physical contact with her. But last week I saw her cuddling with a guy at a party. Help
RomanceClass.com AdviceFirst off, track down that old gf and ask her if she really said that about you. My guess is that she didn't.
Anyway, why would she go out for four months with you if she was just being nice? She would have dumped you a lot earlier.
Get your act together again, girls really admire self-confidence in a boy more than looks. And ask that girl you like now if she has a boyfriend. No need to get your hopes up if she is already committed.
Good luck! George
