Dude you gotta stop staring at me!
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleSo its joe here, and heres my situation:
There is this girl next to my locker, and on valentines i gave her some gifts and she loved them. I talk to her lots, and she smiles whenever we talk, though im the one who starts the conversation with her. I found out she has a boyfriend after i told her that she knew i liked her and she smiled and responded yeah its obvious, i have a boyfriend.
She acts nice towards me, and we talk by our lockers, and she smiles when i try getting her something during lunch for her, or tell her she looks nice. i asked her if we were friends one time, and she smiled and said without hesitaion, of course!
The other day, i was asking how was her weekend, and i tried talking to her, like saying im still her friend even if she has a boyfriend. she smiles and says yeah, but you gotta stop staring at me in class. Im like huh? but shes says yeah its like the 7th time(she says this smiling) she says thanks ...but i left before she could finish.
I don't stare at her in class like a stalker, (unfortuantly i think that she thinks im a perv, even though im against that) but i do give the quick glance every once in awhile.
so im just wondering what should i do next? should i say sorry for making her feel uncomfortable around me? or just ignore her.... or tell her its a misunderstanding.
im pretty lost, and quite frankly i might be paranoid, but maybe she doesn't really like me at all, or maybe she needs space. Thank you.
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt sounds like she likes but has a thing about being looked at in class.
Keep doing what you have been doing (except for looking at her) and things should be fine between the two of you.
Don't be too pushy though... keep it at a low level like chatting etc.
Keep your eye out for other girls too.
Good luck! George
