help me understand

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
how can you love someone and give them the world and do anything for them and all of a sudden out of no where they stop loving you? Then they tell you its not you but its them but they only say that to make themselves feel better. After everything we had made it through and everything that had been happening to her i supported her and was their for her the whole time and there wasnt a time that i wasnt their for her. She always told me she loved me but how then can you break up with someone you had been toghther with for along time and then start talking to another guy abouting dating so soon after it was over? please help me understand how you love can just stop loving someone that was so close to you out of nowhere.

It's hard to understand but it happens all the time.

So, don't think you are unique in your suffering. Many people are suffering right now as you are.

No one yet has figured out how love can turn on and off as it sometimes does.

Often someone else has come into the picture or a sudden loss of trust has occurred. Sometimes there just isn't a tangible explanation.
