Making Out is just a slang term for kissing. Kids that say they are making out mean that they're with their girlfriend (or boyfriend) and are kissing more than just a quick goodnight kiss. It makes it sound cooler if you say making out, I suppose.

So your first step is to find a girlfriend or boyfriend that you feel really comfortable with. Read through all the advice on the site about how to meet good friends of the opposite sex and then how to move from friends to girlfriend/boyfriend.

When you're at the stage that you're dating this person, and are comfortable hugging and kissing together, then you're probably already making out. Making out would be if the two of you went on a walk in the woods and sat down by a beautiful pond, then wrapped your arms around each other and started kissing each other. That state of total absorption in each other is making out :)

Doing anything sexual is *not* part of making out. Making out is just about serious kissing :) Believe me, if you kiss really well, you don't need anything else.
