He says he made a decision. But will it change?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleMy boyfriend and I were together for almost 4 years. We dated about 9 years ago shortly but feel back into each other years later. We had a great relationship when it was good and a hard one when it was not. It got really bad at then very end (last 2 weeks) We fought about everything, we were always on each other's nerves. We broke up and at first we each thought it was for the best. He started to see another girl and since he really had no where to go immediatly moved in with her. They are happy like anyone in a new relationship are. "The beginning nice part" We had spoken for a few hours on the phone the other night and he was so angry that he never thought about the good times. We talked about what went wrong, the good times, what each of us was feeling that we each took as wrong at the time. When his family found out he was seeing someone else...they knew we were on a "break" and they told him to "choose". Well of course who would you pick? The ex who you are fighting with or the new girl who is playing nice. Hw came back to me and said that he left again because with me it was perfect, but b/c we had a past it would be work and with her it wasn't. He said that he wants to try all those things we always talked about doing to make us last and that he honestly loved me more then he could another person...but he made a decision and thinks that he is confused now and should stick with it b/c of what his family told him. We get along great know and are always smiling at one another....he is so stubborn and confused...should I be the nice girl to who he really loves and wait it out? That "New Good Time" never lasts for long. But from your experience how long can that be?
RomanceClass.com AdviceIf they are going to have trouble it will happen after several months.
Are you willing to wait that long or longer? That's what you need to decide.
Perhaps you should keep you eye out for other guys and see how that goes. Who knows what might turn up?
Good luck! George
