An extremely weird situation
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Maleok,
theres this girl and we both like each other and we wwere going to go on our frist date, and since her parents dont want her to date we had to do this secretly so we had a day sceduled for our date. However her parents found ot, and then she broke up with me. I asked her why and she said partly because she was a grade lower than me and that partly because she used to like this guy for 2 and a half yrs before she met me, and she needed dometime. She said that for now what she really need is a friends not a bf. What does this mean? does she not likeme anymore? also should i keep tlking to her about our relationship? or should i leave it and just be a friend? what does she mean she needs soem time?
thanks
RomanceClass.com AdviceAnother reason she doesn't (or can't) go out is that her parents don't approve.
When someone says they need some downtime it means that they need time to come back to their normal self. Sort of like a timeout in sports... it gives the opportunity to catch your breath and think about where you are and what you want to do next.
She seems to want to be your friend which means she likes you but not as a boyfriend yet. You can be a good friend to her and she may grow to like you stronger.
Good luck! George
