she was my enemy and now my fantasy
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Malewell theres this girl that i used to be friends with and we almost hit it off. we had ALOT in common execpt that she was blonde more of a relaxed person and i was black and more of a energetic "oreo" sorta kid. what i found odd was even when i didnt talk to her(sometimes weeks on end) she always made direct eye contact with me, even when we hated each other(but when she hated me i think that was purely a warning to back off). well that day i did something stupid and pissed her off and 1 of her friends. unfortunately for me this conflict became a large.........sort of war between the girl and me. and the feelings i had for her turned to hate.
but recently 6 months later one of my friends dragged me to this interpratetive dance recital amd she happened to be in it. so my friend being as persuasive as he is (he punched me) made me appologize to her. and BAMM eye contact again execpt it wasnt hatefull, it was more positive (for the 1st time in 6 months.( sorry this thing is so long)then i melted (my mind did) so after she changed a insulted this dudes hair and he started to pummel me. and what i least expected, she came to my defense (in a sarcstic sort of way). so then back at school i take my regular route on my way to my classes and then the possitive eye contact starts again. the only problem is HOW DO I GET CLOSER TO HER!! i know i have to talk to her and stuff but what other (NON obvious that i like her) stuff could i do to make us friends again?(so then i can work on asking her out)
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou should move up from the eye contact stage.
When you pass her in the hall, look her straight in the eye, say in a clear voice "Hi" plus her name, and the give her a big smile. This will make her feel really good about you.
Gradually you and she will start to grow closer and at some point you will know it's time to ask her out.
Get her phone number and internet contacts so you can continue your relationship through the summer. Then ask her to a movie or for a walk or to hang out.
Good luck! George
