Am I in the clear yet??
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleMy ex and I cut off communication in march. The reason was because she felt uncomfortable around me because I still had feelings for her and apparently she didn't. But, she was always there-either hanging out-coming over at 12 at night to watch a movie-calling me to talk all the tme....of course I still had feelings. We had been broken up almost two months yet I still felt there was a chance-and everytime I would ask if there was-she would get mad. So we haven't spoken since march because she said we should stop trying to be friends in a text message to me after I asked her why she was being so difficult. Well-i'm finally over her now-yet, I still want to be friends because she really is a valuable person to have around and she lives literally 5 minutes away from me. I just graduated college and I have lost alot of friends in the process-which is good because alot of them weren't any good. So my question is...how do I go about starting the communication again without her feeling like I want more?? Also, is this even a good idea or should I really consider never speaking to her again?? I don't want that at all...but I'm not sure what to do???
RomanceClass.com AdviceTell her you have come to the conclusion that you just want to be friends.
Tell her that you have gotten over her and that you really miss her companionship and that it is hard because many of your friends are now gone.
Send her some flowers with a message like "Can we be friends again?"
She sounds like a nice person and will probable agree to be your friend.
Good luck! George
