His ex emailed me
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleI was in a relationship for 4 years. I broke up with my ex almost a year ago. He hasnt spoken to me since and has been very immature through the whole breakup. We have no closure from the breakup. A few days ago, he got his new girlfriend to email me. She told me how happy she was that I broke up with him because he is her dream guy. She told me how she couldnt believe how I had hurt him so badly. She said many other very hurtful things to me. I really dont understand why he would have her email me, a year after our breakup. We are both 23 years old. To me this seems very high schoolish. I dont understand the purpose of this email. I really could care less about him and this new girl. What would have prompted him to have his new girlfriend email me? To me I think this just shows that he still hasnt gotten over our breakup.

He needed closure and the way he chose to get it was to have his g/f email you and vent what he had to say.
Ignore it. You are over him and shouldn't worry about it.
