Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
by boyfriend used to like this girl who he still is really close to. all he talks about is her when we go out and it really bothers me. he tells me i'm blowing it out of proportion and that he thinks it's unfair of me to ask him not to talk about her whenever i broach the subject, and i'm tired of it. what can i do to deal with the fact that i'm jealous of this girl? what can i do that will make him understand why?

It isn't fair for him to keep talking of her.

All it does is make you unhappy. Make it clear to him that he is making you unhappy. If he persists then you will know that he doesn't care much for your happiness.

If he doesn't cut it out, then it's time to dump him.
