broke up with fiance now im lost without her
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleAbout a month ago I broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years we were also engaged to get married feb of next year. I broke up with her because she started acussing me of cheating on her and no matter what i said she just would not believe me. I know I did it out of anger and was not thinking clearly at the time. Well a few days went by and she brought me her ring back. About this time it set in that it was really over and I lost it. I waited a couple of days and tried to talk to her telling her how much i love her and that I don't want to lose her. She said that she needed some time to figure things out because i hurt her so bad when I broke up with her. A few weeks went by and I tried to talk to her again explaining how much I miss her and telling her all the things I love about her and that I dont ever want to let that go. She started crying and all she could say was that she just needs time that she's not saying that its over for good but she needs time to figure things out because she doesnt now that what happened and what was said can be fixed. Now its tearing me apart being apart from her and I know that i have to give her time but it just feels like everyday i miss her more and more....
RomanceClass.com AdviceAsk her if it is ok for you to call once a week for 15 mins just to see how she is doing and to let her know you care. Don't talk about your relationship. Be cheerful.
This will give her the time she needs and give you the contact you need.
Good luck! George
