What should i do?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
There is this girl at school, the same age as me that i like. Every time i see her, i hug her for alot of lunch. Although there is only 1 day of school left before the holidays, i do have her msn address, so i can talk to her. I am fairly certain that she knows that i fancy her, but i think she has a boyfriend. I have asked her friends and they say that she does, so should i ask her myself or trust her friends?
